The sound of a hermes baby travel typewriter in action, typing sentences. The paper is initially wound up, then typing begins, then there is the ding at the end of each line. This continues for a few lines before the paper is removed. This was recorded in-person with a tascam dr-40 stereo recorder. Public domain: i have released this audio file into the public domain. Night storm in evosmo-thessaloniki (part 1) with more than 30 lightning strikes and thunders in a period of 20 minutes. The recording was made by me with the zoom handy recorder h2 (open window of my apartment). Another explosion i made using wavepad sound editor. This time i used compressed, muffled, and pitched down beer hiss (i used lots of beers and amplified them) and a few small metal parts and rocks. For the first part of the sound, the "bam" it does was mixed beer hiss and a punch i performed on some meat. The rest is just rocks and small metal parts, distorted, softened plus reverb. I used a shure beta 58a microphone to record all those.

We held a fundraiser for a local charity and it included a place for people to get together, play board games and an n64 was set up. This is a digitally synthesized version of the sound produced by current choppers on board the "jeumont element 041/042 train" used in the montreal metro. It is a five-note sequence of tones (90 hz, 120 hz, 180 hz, 240 hz, 360 hz) produced as the train accelerates out of the station. I could not make a recording of the actual jeumont train as the train was scrapped in 2018, which was before i even made my account!.

Here in the midwest we were treated to a nice preview of autumn here in the northern hemisphere. Both the temperature and humidity were nicely lower than usual and this soundscape was recorded featuring the beautiful northern breezes and a few of the birds that still live here. Since this ambience was recorded during the work-week, there are hardly any man-made internal combustion engine noises. In this recording, about 80 people are learning or playing mah jong while the restaurant kitchen closes service and the sound system is off.
